Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • 1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration
  • 2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word.
  • 3. Where appropriate, URLs for the references are provided

Author Guidelines

GENERAL GUIDELINES

  1. Manuscripts must be written in Indonesian and never published in any journal that has an ISSN or ISBN.
  2. Manuscripts can be in the form of research or case studies.
  3. All accepted cases must have attention to difficult, unique, and rare, cases with unusual, important, and important publicized problem-solving.
  4. Manuscripts must be written in the form of articles, not reports. Manuscripts written must use good Indonesian obedience to Indonesian grammar principles.
  5. The author must register as an author at the link http://e-journal.sari-mutiara.ac.id/index.php/NERS/user/register, then the author can log in http://e-journal.sari-mutiara.ac .id/index.php/NERS/login to submit and upload manuscripts.
  6. Manuscripts will be published in the Jurnal Mutiara Ners after being reviewed by peer reviewers.
  7. The editorial staff has the right to edit the manuscript without making changes to its content.
  8. The manuscript writer is responsible for the content of the published manuscript.
  9. Jurnal Mutiara Ners will notify the author if there is an unpublished manuscript.
  10. Manuscripts and illustrations submitted legally belong to the publisher and may not be published in other media without the official permission of the publisher.

WRITING TECHNIQUES

  1. The manuscript is a summary of the research results
  2. The manuscript is written in Indonesian or English with Times New Roman font 11. The length of the manuscript is about 8–15 pages and typed in 1 space.
  3. The page settings are 2 columns with equal “with- columns” and the distance between columns is 5 mm, while the Title, Author Identity, and Abstract are written in 1 column.
  4. The paper size is A4 with a margin of 3.5 cm for the top, bottom, and left borders, while the right is 2.0 cm.

 

WRITING SYSTEM

1.   Title and Author Name:

  • The title is printed in capital letters, in bold with Times New Roman font 12, single-spaced with a maximum word count of 15.
  • The author's name is written under the title without a title, may not be abbreviated, begins with a capital letter, without starting with the word "by", the order of the authors is the first author followed by the second, third, and so on.
  • College names and e-mail addresses of all authors are written under the author's name in Times New Roman font

2.  Abstract:

  • Abstract written in English, contains the core problem/research background, research method/problem solving, and the results obtained. The word abstract is in bold (bold).
  • The number of words in the abstract is not more than 250 words and typed 1 space.
  • The abstract font is Times New Roman font 11, presented with left and right alignment, presented in one paragraph, and written without indenting at the beginning of the sentence.
  • The abstract is equipped with Keywords consisting of 3-5 words which are the core of the description of the abstraction. Keywords are printed in bold (bold).

3.  Manuscripts:

  • Each subtitle is written in Times New Roman font 11 and in bold.
  • New paragraphs are written indented with an indent-first line of 0.75 cm, without spaces between paragraphs.
  • The Latin word is written in italics.
  • All numbers are written with numbers, except at the beginning of sentences, and integers less than ten must be spelled out.
  • Tables and figures must be clearly explained and numbered sequentially.

4.  Reference:

  • Reference composition consists of 80% of primary references (journals and proceedings) and a maximum of 20% of secondary references (books) published in the last 10 years.
  • Authors are advised to use reference management and formatting applications such as Mendeley, Zotero, and EndNote, the reference style of which is APA 6th Edition (American Psychological Association)
